The key-seat is cut down to deep such that the ball bearing of the QD-swivels cannot lock in and the whole thing pulls out. That is a machining problem that wasn’t caught by Daniel Defense QC department. They should supply you with a replacement unit immediately plus a little extra for your inconvenience (it is what I would do…take good care of those customers!). Sounds like DD runs some kind of statistical sample-testing QC model…might need to go some something a little more comprehensive (albeit more expensive). xachary82

From the LPK, I did have a hammer pin bust at less than 1000rds. Oddly, the rifle still function tested fine with it that way. A show was going on that very next weekend, so I just mentioned it to the part-time M&A rep (from SA), and he gave me a new one, and a spare. J&T can probably get you a AR-15 Accessories alot faster than DelTon. DelTon is backordered for months now. anmetcalf
